Hail Imarians,
We are hard at work pushing toward our production goals of having the books ready for print at the end of March. Each piece is moving forward, and we are putting in the time to make sure we're happy with everything.
Collected Chronicles, formerly Imarian Nights, is now in its final polishing stage for the writing and is currently undergoing a full editing pass. Pillars of Power is still in layout, which is proving to be a bottleneck, but progress is steady as we work through it. Meanwhile, writing for our newest Backerkit offering, The Tavern of Timeless Tales, is well underway.

If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to check out our previous two updates here and here for more details on the Backerkit launch and our projected release timeline. They provide a deeper look at where things stand and what lies ahead.
As for PDFs, all will be released at the end of the Backerkit campaign, once the books are fully laid out and sent off to printing.

Clarification and Release Update

Before anything else, here is the quick version.
- This is not a new Kickstarter
- This is not a relaunch
- Original backers do not need to pledge again
- Your original rewards are unchanged and will still be delivered
- All special editions and upgrades in the Backerkit tied to the original offer will be automatically granted to Kickstarter backers
- The new BackerKit is only for new supporters or optional add ons
- If you backed the original Kickstarter and do not want any of the new optional items, you do not need to do anything.
Full Clarification
Hail Imarians,
We want to take a moment to clarify a few important points and share when you can expect to receive your Imaria books.
Some confusion remains around the new BackerKit campaign, so we want to make this very clear.
The new BackerKit campaign is not a new Kickstarter, not a relaunch, and not a second funding phase.
It is simply a final marketing campaign before the book goes to print at the end of March. Its purpose is to allow people who missed the original Imaria Kickstarter to obtain the book and to offer a few optional new items for those who want them.
Original Kickstarter backers are not being asked to pledge again. You do not need to do anything to receive the rewards you backed.
Everything from the original campaign is still moving forward.
Current Status
To clearly outline where things stand:
- The Imaria core book is complete and currently in layout.

Imarian Nights has been renamed Collected Chronicles, which we feel better reflects the purpose and scope of the book. It is in the final stages of conversion to 5.5e and will then move into layout.
- All physical items including dice, spellbooks, map books, and other rewards are already manufactured and sitting in a warehouse. We are simply waiting on the books.
- Our current plan is to send the books to print at the end of March.
- If production stays on schedule, we expect books to begin reaching backers this summer.
BackerKit Clarification
To reiterate details from our last update, there is a new Imaria BackerKit campaign being used as a final opportunity for anyone who missed the original Imaria Kickstarter to get access to the book and some new, optional content before we send everything to print at the end of March.
- All exclusives from the original Kickstarter remain exclusive to this campaign and are not available through the new BackerKit.
- Additionally, any special editions or upgrades tied to the original campaign will automatically be granted to Kickstarter backers.
- You do not need to interact with the BackerKit at all unless you want to add some of the new optional content.
- Your original pledge is secure and unchanged.
Our Reasoning
The original Imaria Kickstarter was incredible. It was modest in scale, but it gave this world its first real momentum.
Since then, our audience has grown significantly, and we have had the opportunity to collaborate with actors and industry designers who want to contribute their own stories and ideas to Imaria.
This BackerKit campaign is our chance to give Imaria one final push before printing, welcoming new supporters who simply were not there the first time.
What Is New
For those who want to expand their Imaria collection, the BackerKit campaign includes several optional add ons
- A new adventure book featuring The Tavern of Timeless Tales, the iconic location from our live stage games at conventions across North America, including characters portrayed by the actors we work with
- Pins representing the Four Pillars of Power, available individually and through special BackerKit interactions
- Additional dice and digital adventures
- And possibly a few surprises we are not quite ready to reveal yet
All of this content is completely optional and purely additive.
Everything you selected during the original Kickstarter will still be delivered.
We hope this clears everything up and gives you a better idea of our timeline. We will share another update at the beginning of April with our latest progress, so keep an eye out for that.

You may have seen us talking about a new Imaria BackerKit campaign, so we want to start by clearly explaining what that is, why it exists, and most importantly, what it means for those of you who backed the original Kickstarter.
One Last Call Before Print
BackerKit is a pledge manager and storefront that allows people to support a project after a Kickstarter has ended. In our case, it is being used as a final opportunity for anyone who missed the original Imaria Kickstarter to get access to the book and some new, optional content before we send everything to print at the end of Q1.
This is not a new Kickstarter, not a relaunch, and not a second funding phase. This is the final marketing campaign for Imaria before we send it to print. Its purpose is to welcome new supporters who missed their chance the first time, while giving longtime fans optional new ways to engage with the world.
If you backed us originally, you made this possible. This campaign exists because of that foundation, not in spite of it.
Original Kickstarter Backers Are Not Being Asked to Re-Pledge
If you backed the original Imaria Kickstarter, you do not need to do anything.
- The Imaria book is complete and currently in layout
- Everything you backed is already locked in
- All exclusives from the original Kickstarter remain exclusive to that campaign
- All special editions and upgrades in the Backerkit tied to the original offer will be automatically granted to original backers
You only need to interact with the BackerKit if you want some of the new optional content.

We’ve got fantastic news! Layout is officially underway, and we’re making great progress!
At this point, we’re in the home stretch. It’s been a long, winding journey, but we’re finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.

First off, thank you for your continued patience and unwavering support. We know it’s been a long road, and we want to sincerely apologize for the extended delay.
What’s Happening Now
We’re in the final stages of some important refinements. To ensure the best experience for everyone, we’re trimming the page count. Not just to save on shipping costs (which can be steep!), but also to enhance the presentation and quality of the final book. Our goal is to make it lighter, more polished, and overall better for you.
While that means another pause in visible progress, it’s a crucial step in delivering a product that lives up to your expectations, and our own. We’re committed to getting you the best possible version of Imaria, while also being mindful of budget and shipping realities.
