Hey folks,
We know it’s been a long while since the last update. Thank you so much for your continued patience.
The PDF is still in layout. Our layout designer has been juggling multiple projects, and as a result, progress has been slower than we’d hoped. While this part of the process is often invisible, it’s a critical stage, and unfortunately, we don’t have much that’s show-ready at the moment.
Additionally, our project lead recently experienced the sudden and unexpected loss of their father. It’s been a heartbreaking and disorienting time, and we want to acknowledge the human impact that’s had on our timeline and team capacity.
We’re not looking for sympathy, just understanding. This project is progressing, even if that progress is slower than hoped. The release of the SRD 2.0, which we discussed in our last update, was a major milestone, and we've been going through the book to ensure everything lines up accordingly.
We know this update may be disappointing to those eager for progress, and we hate to keep you waiting without something tangible to show. But we’re still here, still working, and we’ll continue to update you as we make progress, especially once layout is complete and we're ready to move into finalization and fulfillment.

Progress Preview Incoming + Tariff Clarification

Hey everyone!
We hope you're doing well and enjoying your spring! We wanted to drop in with a quick progress update and also address some concerns we’ve seen circulating regarding international tariffs.
Progress Update
While we are still awaiting the release of the 5e SRD 2.0, the 2014 5e PDF is deep in layout territory now, and the book is coming together beautifully. We’re finalizing key sections and getting everything polished for print. Later this week, we’ll be sharing some sneak peeks of the layout so you can see how the world of Imaria is shaping up on the page. Stay tuned!
About Those Tariffs
We’ve heard your concerns about potential international tariffs, especially with recent changes making waves in the tabletop space. We want to assure you: backers will not be footing the bill for any new tariffs that may apply.
Because we chose to delay printing in order to include material from the 2024 SRD, we don’t believe our backers should be caught in the fallout of the current tariff situation. We’re currently exploring options to mitigate the impact on our end, and while it’s a complex puzzle, we’re committed to protecting our backers from unexpected costs.
What This Means for You
No action needed on your part. We’ll continue to keep you updated as we finalize these solutions, but rest assured you will not be hit with surprise fees or tariffs when your books ship.

Progress & SRD Update + Module

Hello everyone,
First and foremost, we want to sincerely apologize for the continued delay in delivering PDFs to our backers. As a small team, our layout process has taken longer than anticipated, creating a larger bottleneck than we initially expected. However, we are making steady progress and now believe we will have something to share by the end of March.
Regarding the physical books, we are still waiting on the release of the new System Reference Document (SRD) before we can finalize printing. Currently, the new SRD is expected to be released "within weeks." According to LaTia (D&D Community Manager) on February 18, the original SRD announcement from May 2024 (found here) remains accurate. Once the new SRD is available, we will have a clearer path forward for printing.

We’re here with an update on the journey of bringing this book to life! It’s no secret that things have taken a little longer than we initially planned, and we want to be transparent with you about what’s been going on behind the scenes.
Why The Delay?
As a small but passionate team, we’ve been working hard to balance this project alongside a few others that share our workload. One major reason for the extended timeline has been the sheer scope of this book. A project this size requires some serious attention to detail, especially when it comes to the art layout. We want every page to feel vibrant, visually engaging, and immersive for you. This level of design takes time, especially with such a small team.
